A Note on Vintage Character & Craftsmanship

Because each piece is handcrafted from authentic vintage and antique silverware, it carries it's own special history. You may notice minor surface scuffs or "beauty marks" earned over decades of past lives. Rather than flaws, see these as a testament to the metal's journey, adding a unique soul and character to your ring that modern jewelry simply can't replicate.

Each piece is Handcrafted in Barrie, ON – As featured on CTV News Barrie.

Jewelry Care Guide

To keep your Silverware Treasures looking as beautiful as the day they arrived, a little bit of love goes a long way. Because I work with a variety of metals, each requires slightly different care.

Please note that sterling silver and silverplated pieces naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture. This is a normal process and easily fixed with a quick buff!

General Tips for All Pieces

  • The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Put your jewelry on after applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray. Remove it before bed to avoid accidental snagging.
  • Keep it Dry: Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming (especially in chlorine or salt water), or exercising.
  • Storage: When not in use, store your pieces in a cool, dry place. A small airtight bag is perfect for preventing oxidation.

Care Instructions

Sterling Silver

Naturally tarnishes over time when exposed to air and moisture.

Wear it often! The natural oils in your skin actually help prevent tarnish. Use your complimentary polishing cloth to restore its shine.

Silver-Plated

A layer of silver over a base metal. The plating can wear down if treated harshly.

Gentle is the key. Lightly buff with your polishing cloth. Avoid over-polishing or using liquid silver cleaners, as these can strip the plating.

Stainless Steel

Highly durable, rust-resistant, and great for sensitive skin.

This is your "low maintenance" metal. It rarely tarnishes, but if it gets dull, a quick wipe with your polishing cloth or a damp cloth with mild soap will do the trick.

Using Your Complimentary Polishing Cloth

Every Silverplated, Stainless, and Sterling Silverware Treasure order includes a complimentary polishing cloth.

  • Use the cloth to gently buff away fingerprints, oils, and natural oxidation.
  • Note: Do not wash the polishing cloth! The cleaning agents are built into the fabric; once the cloth is completely black on both sides, it’s time for a new one.
